The $1 Sweeps results and payouts for Tuesday, April 8^thare now posted on the bulletin board behind the computer in the Resident's Room.   Seventy members kicked in $1.00 each.   Skins winner with 2 skins was Jack Ramos.   Other winners with 1 skin included Norm Schwalm, Jim Musgrave, Darrell Lininger, Dick Maxey, Don Yorston, and Tom McHugh.  

The NCGA Senior Net Championship regionals will be held on May 1 at a local course in our area and the Championship will be at Poppy Hills GC on May 29-30.   TCMGC is sending two players this year after the club's qualification round.   They are Martin Wolf and Tom McHugh.   Then the next and final NCGA tournament will be the Senior Four-Ball Net which is made up of a two-person team.   Club qualifying will be June 10^th.   Contact Bill Aaberg for information.   

Rotation day this month for the morning players is Tuesday, April 22nd. We will be playing the Oaks/Pines so charge up those golf cart batteries! The posting computers will be defaulted to the Oaks/Pines blue tees that day for ease in posting.  

Our 11^th Annual Putting Contest will be held on Friday, April 25^th, 2:30pm at Sierra Pines with practice at 1:30pm.   Sign up by contacting Rodger Page who will also be available on the patio on Tuesdays.   This is a fun contest and the cost is $5.00 which includes pizza, beer and soft drinks.   Jim Erskine is the defending champion.

We currently have 380 members in our club and the newest member is Bill Bickell.   Welcome Bill and we hope you enjoy and take advantage of all that this club offers.

After playing Auburn CC on April 28^th the next Travel Tournament event is to Empire Ranch on Wednesday, June 4^th.   Dick Gilberg and Dick Kay are currently taking sign-ups for this.   In addition to this one there are three others scheduled in July, August, and September.   Contact either Dick to sign up or for more information.   They have done a great job and a lot of work in setting these events up this year.

The next General Meeting is Wednesday, May 7^th with an 8:00AM start for coffee and pastries and a business meeting beginning at 8:30AM.   Raffle prize giveaways included!

On both sides of the May 7^th General Meeting is the annual Medal (Stroke) Play Championship to be held on May 6^thand 8^th. Billy Wright and Jack Nold are the co-chairs.       

Save the date of June 24^th and 25^th for our "Enhanced Member/Member" Tournament. The format will be similar to our past Invitational tournaments with each day consisting of two separate and different nine hole formats and will also include lunch the first day and dinner the second day. This promises to be a fun event and plans are already underway. Sign up will begin soon.

Another date to put on your calendar is Friday, August 15^th. The First Annual "Sun City Cup" match between Lincoln Hills Men's Golf Club and Timber Creek Men's Golf Club will be played this year at our home course with a 7:30AM shotgun start and will be match play under a modified Ryder Cup format.  After golf we will have lunch on the patio.  Watch for further details.
