Sun City Roseville Golfing Dress Code

APPROPRIATE GOLF ATTIRE:

SHIRTS, WITH COLLARS FOR MEN, NO BLUE DENIM APPAREL, AND FLAT SOLED SHOES OR GOLF SHOES WITH NON-METAL SPIKES SHALL BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ON ANY GOLF COURSE AND IN THE PRACTICE AREA IN SUN CITY.

In general terms, this means:

1. Appropriate --  Except as listed in (2) below:

  • For men and boys: shirts with regular or "henley" style collars, V-neck or turtle neck sweaters, sweat shirts, turtle neck shirts, shorts reaching mid-thigh, wind and rain pants, and trousers that are not blue denim.
  • For women and girls: shorts shorter than 5 inches above the top of the knee must have at least a 6 inch inseam, skirts no shorter than 5 inches above the knee, sleeveless collared blouses, polo shirts with collars, collarless tops that are consistent with currently accepted golf fashion, turtlenecks, sweat shirts, V-neck sweaters, and all slacks including wind rain pants.

2. Inappropriate:

  • For men and boys: tank tops, sleeveless shirts, collarless shirts, tee shirts, jogging shorts, gym shorts, swimwear, blue denim jeans, dungarees, cutoffs, jogging or workout apparel, sweat pants, clothing displaying designs or lettering in poor taste, or any bleached , torn or tattered clothing.
  • For women and girls: blue denim jeans or shorts or skirts, tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, swim suits, bathing suit bottoms, cutoffs, jogging shorts, sweat pants, gym shorts, or any clothing displaying designs or lettering in poor taste, or any bleached, torn or tattered clothing.

Enforcement:

Residents have the responsibility to be familiar with this dress code, comply personally, and make sure that their guests follow the code.  The Golf Professional and his staff are responsible for informing outside players of the proper attire for our facility.
The Golf Professional and his staff have the responsibility for enforcement of this dress code, and the authority to determine compliance with these general guidelines.
