No meetings since early December equates to a rather abbreviated e-bulletin. Just a reminder that our first meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3 at 8:30 AM in the ballroom. Doors will open at 8 AM, coffee and pastries will be served and you can brag to your buddies on how you spent your hibernation period.
We have a whole new crew (almost) running things this year, so come to the meeting, meet them and speak out (it is your club, you know). Our new president Paul Wilmoth will be discussing some of his objectives for the coming year, and in particular, how we can boost attendance at the meetings and on Men’s Day, which is where your speaking out comes into play. Our new Tournament Director, Ernie Bell, will be going over some of the new ground rules for tournaments for the year, in addition to taking sign ups for the very first tournament of the decade on February 9th.
If you’re aching to get in some extra play for the upcoming year, Rodger Page will tell you all about the Thursday Group, no fees, no dues, no qualifying rounds. Just open to members who will have to play to a maximum handicap of 26 and be willing to have a good time and meet some of the other members.
A club is just as good as its members want it to be, so with your participation, this club could be the best. Be active and supportive. Make it a New Years resolution!!!!!
