Ernie has indicated that this was a very well attended tournament, congratulations
to all the winners and participants.
The next tournament is this coming Friday, the 21st and that is the Member/Guest.
As always, this is a big one and sign-ups will be taken through the 18th, so
get a partner and get in on it, and if you can’t find a partner they can
probably find one for you. The ‘they’ is Bill Whitney or Martin Wolf
and with those two running this one you know it will be a good one.
Remember that your dues for 2012 are now due, applications on the website, in
the Pro Shop, or you may have gotten one via e-mail, so while it’s on your
mind, write a check to TCMGC for $70 and turn it into the Pro Shop or bring it
to the next General Meeting on November 2nd, someone will be there to relieve
you of it !
The next tournament, after Ernie’s Net on the 25th, will be the Turkey
Shoot on November 8th. This one always pays off big and it is also the last one
in the Timber Creek Cup series, so be sure you’re in it .
At last months meeting two checks and two flags were handed out for holes in
one, Ed Olson, who was acknowledged in last months e-bulletin was joined by JR
Moors who nailed #16 with a gap wedge on September15th, way to go, JR.
It may seem early, but mark off December 7th on the old calendar, that is the
day of the Holiday Brunch and Skills Challenge, always a sell-out and always
a great time.
Remember the November Meeting on the 2nd, that’s election day and we will
be voting to see who will be running things next year………..Be
There
