There are two standing Men's Club meetings, the General Meeting and the Governing Board Meeting. These meetings are indicated on the monthly calendars (see Menu Bar above). General MeetingThe Timber Creek Men's Golf Club General Meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month except for January. All meetings are held in the Sun City Ball Room in the Timbers Lodge. The February through November meetings start at 8:30am and are generally completed within one hour. Coffee is provided starting at 8:00am. The February through October meeting usually includes short reports from the Head Pro and Golf Course Superintendent, along with reports from the president, secretary, treasurer, and standing committee chairmen. Occasionally, we have a presentation by an outside specialist on an item of interest. At the conclusion of the meeting, the good of the order generally includes door prizes. The December meeting is a year-end holiday event for which there is a nominal fee and is interspersed with meeting information and good-of-the-order entertainment followed by a Skills Challenge run by the Pro Shop. Governing Board MeetingThe monthly Governing Board meeting is usually held on the last Wednesday of the month in the Poker Room. Occasionally it is rescheduled or held in a different room. While mandatory for board members, it is also open to any interested member.
