Minutes from previous meeting

The minutes of the meeting of May 6, 2010 were approved as submitted.

Golf Course

Jim Ferrin, GC Superintendent, reported that work continues to refine and improve the golf courses.  The sprinklers, now individually controlled need to be tweaked to get the best coverage with the least amount of over watering.  This will continue to be a minor problem with some wet areas and dry areas as the system is refined.  Jim noted that we are on reclaimed water which also tends to create additional minor problems.  He noted that most of his staff play golf and are gaining a better appreciation of course set up and condition.  The geese continue to be a problem, and at this time, due to the goslings being unable to fly, and the adults molting, they cannot be harassed by the goose patrol.
