Men's Club No Show Policy
This policy covers the Club policy for participant cancellations, last minute
additions, and no shows.
-
If any member who has signed up to play in a tournament cannot participate, he must
contact a member of the tournament committee at least 24 hours before the event.
Failure to do so will subject the member to the following penalties:
1) Forfeiture of his entry fee, and
2) Forfeiture of right to play in the next tournament.
-
The Tournament Chairman has the authority to waive any part of the penalty.
-
For tournaments involving team competition, any player entering a tournament
late (after pairings have been made) cannot participate for prize money
with the foursome assigned. Said player will not be charged for participation
in the tournament. However, the foursome he was assigned to will be able
to participate in the competition with a blind draw used to compute the
foursome's score for prize money.
- A blind draw used to complete a foursome will participate in the prize
money based on his foursome's score only.
This policy became effective in March 1999. It was amended in March 2004 and
March 2006.
