Almost In Men's Club: Statement of Purpose

Timber Creek Men's Golf Club

The Timber Creek Men's Golf Club is an association of 18-hole golfers. Tuesday at the Oaks and Lakes is designated for men's play and sign-ups can be made one-week ahead of time. Golf tournaments are scheduled monthly, February through November. The club also holds qualifying NCGA tournaments.

Purpose

  • The purpose of the Timber Creek Men's Golf Club is to further the interests of men's golf according to the best tradition of the game and for the greatest enjoyment of its members.

Membership

  • Membership is voluntary and open to any person holding a current Sun City Roseville Community Association membership card. Membership application can be downloaded from the forms page.
  • The Men's Golf Club dues include the annual NCGA dues. New members initial dues are slightly higher because NCGA adds a new member fee (unless membership is being transferred).
  • Guest privileges are extended to any guest of a Sun City Men's Golf Membership, with the exception of Men's Days.
  • There are four designated officers elected to office on an annual basis: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. A cadre of committee members -- including Tournament, Membership, Handicap, Rules, Traveling Tournaments, RAMP, Golf Committee liaison, and Website-- supports the Men's Golf Club officers.

Handicaps and Scoring

  • Specific handicap information can be found on the handicap page.
  • Handicap records are maintained in the resident's golf room outside of the Pro Shop. The computer to post NCGA scores is also located in the resident's golf room. Members are required to post all scores within 48 hours of completing a round.
  • Scorecards should be signed, dated, and turned into the Men's Club scorecard box in the Resident's Golf Room.
  • All posted scores should be adjusted using the Equitable Stroke Control system.
  • For specific information about scoring, see Scorecard Box.
